Scrolling back (and it doesn't take that long to do) I see that three years ago I'd resolved to post more in LJ. It actually worked, for that year, and then I dropped off again. I still check LJ daily, and still comment frequently, but I must say it's a lot quieter around here since FB went all 'splodey. Not as much for me to comment on. But hey, I can do something about that.
Think I'll try and post more here this year. Again. For what definition of "more," remains to be seen.

Seems I post twice a year, and this is one of them. You all already know I'm here pretty much daily and comment oodles, I just never think of "clever enough" things to say to make my own posts.

and that's as close to a new year's resolution as i'm going to make.
notice i'm not saying how much more. but given how infrequently i posted in 2008, methinks i've got plenty of wiggle room.

I met Mrs. Roddenberry on several occasions, at various Creation conventions in Manhattan years ago. She was a dear sweet lady, full of warmth and returned affection for her fans. Whoever she spoke to always had her full attention. I feel a small yet personal loss at her passing.

| 08:24 pm - Well, now I've gone and done it
Ever since LJ announced that paid users would be able to edit their comments, I knew it was going to be what finally pushed me over the edge into getting a paid account (taking forever to pick that sixth icon made me realise I didn't need tons more icons, as nice as it would be to have them). It just took until now to get over the procrastination. Finally, no more deleting-and-reposting when I decide I've messed something up! Compulsive editor that I am.
I expect new icons to be added slowly, however, despite my having stockpiled them all this time.
